The state capital of Hanover has launched an innovative initiative to improve cycling traffic with the “Smart.Rad” project. The “Traffic Pilot” app provides cyclists with real-time information about the current traffic light phase and the time remaining until the next green phase. This means that unnecessary stops at traffic lights can be avoided and a smoother and safer journey is made possible for cyclists.
